The Nike Air Max 95 "Neon" is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic sneakers ever made. The brainchild of Sergio Lozano, it made its grand debut a quarter of a century ago all the way back in 2005. To celebrate this massive milestone, the Swoosh has given it an extra rugged makeover with the Nike NDSTRKT Air Max 95 "Neon", and we're here to take our first look yet!
Adopting the same colour palette as the original, the upcoming "Neon" drops the anatomically-inspired aesthetic for a look that's not too dissimilar to Batman's Tumbler that played a huge role in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Six woven stripes shoot across the lateral and medial side panels to form the lacing system, while the classic Air Max 95 badge is embroidered onto the tongue.
Down below, you'll find a blacked out Nike Air midsole complete with a "Neon" bubble at the heel, while extra chunky treading offers up added traction with every step.
Set to drop in Asia on November 30th, we're not entirely sure when the Nike NDSTRKT Air Max 95 "Neon" will hit European shores so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this makeover, and in related news, a Dior x Nike Air Max 95 collaboration is in the works!
