Air VaporMax Plus Gets An Exotic Purple Makeover

Since being unveiled on Air Max Day in 2017, the Nike Air VaporMax Plus has been a firm favourite on our radar. The hybrid shoe which fuses the Air Max Plus (known to most as the TN) with the VaporMax sole has seen a number of colourway variations and interpretations.

This time around, the VaporMax has been dressed in 'Regency Purple' and is set for an upcoming release. The silhouette features a purple neoprene sock-like upper, which hugs the foot, while an aqua blue TPU cage brings added support  – and style – midfoot.

There's an iridescent abstract shape at the arch, sitting just above the fully exposed VaporMax sole unit, which comes in a gradient colour transitioning from pink to blue.

The gradient of the Air sole gives us warm exotic sunset vibes, as if the sky is turning from day to night. This feels quite different to the usual colourways for the VaporMax Plus – such as the bright rainbow colours of the 'Be True' colourway or the cool tones of the VaporMax Plus Grey with mint green.
