Nike is continuing its Air Jordan 5 30th anniversary celebrations with the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Fire Red 2020". On-foot images courtesy of sneaker insider @hanzuying, the "Fire Red 2020" is crafted from panels of white leather and contrasted with "Fire Red" accents at the tongue and inner lining. Mesh panels hit the lateral and medial side panels and a toggle lacing system gives the shoe a rugged look and feel that's unique to this model.
Moving downwards, the Nike Air midsole has been fully blacked out for an insane amount of contrast, and this is lined with an icy blue rubber outsole. To round it all off, the Jordan 5's signature P-51 Mustang-inspired detailing also makes an appearance, finalising the design.
While the Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro "Fire Red 2020" was meant to launch this weekend, it has now been delayed until April 25th due to the coronavirus. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your seasonal rotation next month, and while you're here, make sure you take a sneak peek at the upcoming Air Jordan 5 "Alternate Grape"!
