With plenty of Jordan Brand news floating around at the moment, we’re pleased to unveil brand-new on-foot images of the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Red Oreo”. Offering a clean two-tone colourway, plenty of AJ6 fans have already been eyeing up this upcoming release. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released back in 1991, this silhouette was worn extensively by MJ and remains one of the most-loved offerings in the Jordan Brand catalogue.
With uppers crafted from premium leather, the whited-out panels here are accentuated with speckled red touches, earning the model it’s “oreo” nickname. Classic AJ6 panelling is present throughout, displaying instant retro vibes. Perforations lie across the uppers while plenty of padding is located at the ankles, reminding us that these were originally created with performance basketball in mind.
Branding is low-key across the design, with Jumpman logos embroidered onto the tongue and heels, branded insoles and of course a matching-red lace lock to help keep these firmly on feet at all times. Underfoot, whited-out midsoles are complemented with hits of red and ice-blue, with a visible Nike Air unit located under the heels, making these comfortable everyday beaters.
If you’re keen on this upcoming Jordan release then you’ll be pleased to hear that they have an estimated release date of the 4th of June, although this could be subject to delays as with all releases right now. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and while you’re here check out other awesome news like your best look yet at the brand-new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bred”!
