The Nike Air Max 1 “Hunter Green” and “Magma Orange” are looking set to be the two biggest releases this week, and it’s not too difficult to see why. Both of these Air Max 1’s closely resemble the OG release and showcase all the iconic details that made the 1987 release the classic it is today.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the AM1 was the first ever model in the Air Max family and is still adored by sneakerheads around the world today. While Nike took a brief hiatus from producing the silhouette, it seems it’s now back and better than ever!
Both pairs display the eye-catching colour blocking that made the original Air Max 1 such a success, with classic features such as the white mesh base layer, mudguards and square upper eyelets present as ever. Branding comes in the form of Nike Swoosh logos on either side alongside Nike Air motifs at the tongue and heel.
The OG feel is conserved below the feet, with the white rubber midsole and sole perfectly complementing the retro uppers. The visible Air Max unit resides beneath the heel, offering high levels of comfort and support at all times. If you’ve always dreamed of owning an OG Air Max 1, these are about as close as you’ll get without forking out the big bucks!
If you’re looking to get your hands on the Nike Air Max 1 “Hunter Green” or “Magma Orange”, the good news is that both pairs are set to release at select retailers on the 30th July.
