Taking the Desert Rat sneaker off the street and onto the trails, no one asked for this shoe to be made, but now that it's finally here, we have to admit that we're pretty hyped! First leaked back in August, we're taking an on foot look thanks to these new images from sneaker insider @yankeekicks!

The Yeezy 500 has always been one of Kanye West's most premium sneakers, but the 'Slate' takes the quality up a notch. With charcoal-hued buttery smooth suede and tumbled leather panels, this is all overlaid on top of a neoprene base that's perfect for the wet and windy season. The iconic lacing system is tied together using a pair of extra thick rope laces, while taping runs around the mudguards for added protection.

Moving downwards, you'll find the same adiPRENE midsole that was previously used on the 'Blush'. This provides the perfect amount of comfort and cushioning no matter the surface. It's also infused with anti-marking tech as well, so you won't be scuffing up any floors anytime soon.
