A shoe that leaked at the end of summer, we’re happy to announce that it’s now been officially confirmed by adidas with a release date that’s expected to be around December.
Like the ‘Stone’, the Yeezy 500 High Slate completely reworks the 500’s usual construction by switching out the mesh with neoprene panelling that’s made for the wet and windy months. Painted in a stealthy colour scheme, dark black accents contrast against midnight navy hues for a palette that’s perfect for the autumn and winter season. On top of this, the same adiPRENE unit that’s used on previous releases makes a comeback, offering the same comfort and cushioning while maintaining the chunky look that’s truly unforgettable.
