Yeezy 500 Utility Black

The only Yeezy 500 included in the June 1st adidas CONFIRMED drop is this “Utility Black” colourway. Arguably the most wearable edition from the Yeezy 500 catalogue, the “Utility Black” has earned its place alongside the other favourite blacked-out Yeezy editions.

Originally released in July of 2018 and then again in November 2020 and 2021, this June release on the adidas CONFIRMED app will have been the fourth time that the colourway has been up for grabs. Similar to the previous iterations such as the “Salt” and “Stone” pairs, the “Utility Black” once again arrives kitted out in a monotone finish. With a jumbo mesh underlay providing breathability, the various mixtures of abstract suede panelling make for a truly unique design. Below, the sole unit is heavily inspired by adidas’ ‘90s Feet You Wear range, and in particular the Intimidation, a silhouette set to receive a collaborative retro from Packer.
