A gradient effect takes over the panel that runs around the centre of the upper, fading from bright teal to pastel green matching the colouring around the mudguard. What makes this AM98 unique from its predecessors and brand new for 2020 is the bubble detailing, creating from a textured transparent fabric that overlays the mudguard and top lace eyelets creating a bubble, water droplet effect.

Added pops of colour appear on the heel with a bright aqua pull tab and a gradient hue Air unit that's visible through the centre of the Air bubble in the midsole giving an even more ocean-inspired aesthetic. Embroidered vertical lined detailing works around the upper with the signature 3M trim contouring the shape of the shoe and lighting up in the dark.
