Following on from the club's classic retro-inspired collection late last year, Arsenal has now unveiled a new project with none other than Transport For London. Arsenal x TFL x adidas have crafted a pre-match collection to be worn by the squad for all their pre-match activities.
This latest collaboration draws inspiration from the renaming of tube station Gillespie Road to Arsenal all the way back in 1932. This name change has been the first and the last occasion in which a tube station has been named after a football club.
The collection itself spans five pieces including a classic football shirt, a reversible vest and pants, a youth jersey and a limited edition Oyster card. Leading the collection, we see the classic shirt arrive in bold fashion. Keeping with TFL's classic white, blue and red hues, this limited edition kit sports an all-over "moquette" print that you might have seen on Picadilly line seats.
The full collection is currently available on adidas' website and at official Arsenal club stores. In other news, Represent celebrates "a decade of dedication" with its latest documentary.
