In a scene saturated with collaborations, matches made in heaven can be hard to come by, but New Balance and AURALEE seem to have the formula on lock. Having also previewed a couple of upcoming 1906Rs at Fashion Week, the Japanese label has previously worked on a 550 and XC-72, but it's the low-profile RC30 that’s become the focus for its latest link-up with the Boston-based brand.
Keeping things simple, AURALEE opts for monochromatic make-ups on these new pairs, which also appeared on the runway back in January. Dropping in both “Beige” and “Green”, elevated suede uppers take the place of any fussy detailing. Matching tonal laces tie things up, while the RC30’s typical ripped sole sits comfortably underfoot in a synonymous hue.
Set to launch on the 14th of April, be sure to hit the purple button to set your release reminders for your best chance of copping the New Balance x AURALEE RC30 on the day, and stay locked to hear more about when the 1906Rs could follow.
Up next, Action Bronson's 990v6 has a release date.
