The Swoosh brand is once again looking ahead to the autumn months, as this latest rendition of the Air Max 95 is certainly gearing up for some rough and ready weather. Decked out in a seasonally-appropriate colour scheme, the Air Max 95 “Khaki Orange” features plenty of brand-new features that transform the 1995 classic into a pair that’s ready to tackle any terrain.
The model was developed by Sergio Lozano and is inspired by the human anatomy, with it originally tested on plenty of trails near Nike’s Oregon HQ. This new version certainly pays homage to these hiking roots, as it comes complete with a unique bungee-cord style speed lacing system that allows the wearer to tighten these up in an instant. If you’ve been searching for a utilitarian pair of sneakers for winter then could these be the Air Max you’ve been waiting for?
Crafted from durable suede and canvas, the uppers blend together shades of khaki and black for a toned-down colourway that’s ideal for the fall season, while plenty of padding is located around the ankles and heels to make these a suitable pair of daily steppers. Nike’s Swoosh logo features on the rear in black, while the bright-orange over-laces are clearly the show stopping feature here. Tonal Air Max branding completes the look at the tongues along with several visible Air Max units underfoot.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the Nike Air Max 95 “Khaki Orange” in time for winter then you’ll have to sit tight just a little longer yet. No official release date has been announced although we can expect the pair to launch via Nike and select retailers in the coming months. While you wait, make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier and check out this vibrant Dunk Low while you’re here!
