Brain Dead x Converse Reunite To Create A Patterned One Star

Statement footwear fans rejoice!

The dream team that is Brain Dead and Converse are back for 2019 with a brand new collaboration focussed on the skate shoe brand's beloved One Star.

Converse's suede coated low top sneaker has received numerous customisations over the years, and it's safe to say that this multi-patterned rendition is bolder than most.

Following in the footsteps of the reimagined Chuck 70 which debuted late last year, the One Star features a unique graphic print on each side of the silhouette, encompassing polka dots, leopard print, and zebra stripes.

Kyle NG's direction is also reflected within the sneaker's foxing tape, which is stamped with the design collective's motto:

“Brain Dead Is Not One Person, Nor Is It One Idea. It sits in the space between people.”

Cream hues complete the look across Converse's vulcanised midsole and lace unit, as All Star branding makes a classic appearance at the heel.

The Brain Dead x Converse One Star will be available on February 7th in limited quantities at Converse's online store and select retailers.
