Nothing says sunshine like a bright yellow pair of Air Jordan 1s, and it looks like two brand-new pairs could be dropping in time for the summer months. Whilst the Air Jordan 1 High “Yellow Toe” is set to arrive later this year, an Air Jordan 1 Low and Mid are set to drop in adults and kids sizes in the coming months, so here’s what to expect from the pairs.
The Air Jordan 1 Low, unofficially named the AJ1 Low “Taxi,” sees the black and yellow Taxi theme sit atop a crisp white base. Bright yellow overlays dress the front of the sneaker, nylon tongue, liners and Nike Swoosh, whereas black panels wrap themselves around the collar and heel. The “Taxi” AJ1 Low comes finished with yellow embroidered Jordan branding, a pair of black laces, and a white midsole comes topped with a yellow outsole to tie the colourway together.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Yellow Black” sees the style take on a similar theme, although this time black takes over the toe box, tongue and Swoosh. The Yellow shade extends to the pair’s ankle flaps, where the Jordan Wings insignia can be found stamped in black for a pop of contrast. Like the Low pair, the “Yellow Black” AJ1 Mid comes finished with a white and yellow sole.
Neither the “Yellow Black” Air Jordan 1 Mid or “Taxi” Air Jordan 1 Low have yet received an official release date yet, but now we’ve seen the official images we’re expecting to see them drop over the next couple of months.
