Just when you thought football and fashion crossovers had dried up for the year, it would seem Burberry has other plans. In line with the reveal of its Spring/Summer 2024 range, two familiar faces are featured in Burberry's campaign. Tapping Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Tottenham's Son Heung-min, this latest campaign looks to embrace the now-close relationship between sports and style.
While usually North London rivals, this pair of some of the Premier League's finest have come together in unison with Burberry to showcase the brand's latest goods. In a campaign fittingly shot around London, we see both the footballing stars decked out in somewhat retro Burberry looks.
Son looks to don a houndstooth suit complete with a notched lapel. Sporting classic beige and blank tints, this piece looks to be a homage to Burberry's original tartan check. Saka, on the other hand, flaunts a multilayered look made up of a trench coat and shirt combo. With the trench arriving with a neutral hue, this pairing prominently displays the vivid green hues underneath.
With the international break over and the Premier League set to commence once again, let's see if this pair can look as good on the pitch as they have off it. Up next, adidas x Fear of God Athletics is about "2 Weeks" from release according to Jerry Lorenzo.
