It would seem everyone's favourite Luxury British label is keen to further embrace the skate community. After collaborating with skate/streetwear imprint Supreme earlier this year, Burberry is back and ready to set its sights on yet another skateboarding label. For summer 2022, Burberry x Pop Trading Company have joined forces to produce a signature collection of goods.
Drawing inspiration from the global skate community, this collection features a range of stylish silhouettes, including parkas, zipped jackets, silk shirts, cargos, hoodies, cardigans and much more, with each showcasing a range of distinctive prints and co-branded logos.
Instead of the usual brown and beige hues, the duo has embraced a sleek mix of grey, black and red tints in homage to Japan's dark cityscapes where skateboarding is banned by day and flourishing by night. Notable pieces from the collection utilise Burberry's famed check pattern, while others merge logos from both brands in a harmonious fashion.
For those looking to get their hands on this upcoming Burberry x Pop Trading Company collection, it will be available in select Burberry stores, as well as on both brands' websites from the 15th of June. In other fashion news, Stone Island x Kevlar produce a sixth iteration of the Prototype Research_Series.
