On the calendar of high heat releases set to drop this year is the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Black/Summit White featuring the iconic layered design details and tiered midsole that we've seen in the previous collabs from Chitose Abe and the Swoosh brand.

After first being unveiled at Paris Fashion Week a huge amount of hype has already built around this black and white sacai VaporWaffle. A mixture of high-quality materials have been used with breathable mesh acting as a lightweight base with soft suede and leather overlays around the toebox and down the lace unit in black. The hybrid silhouette features a chunky foam midsole with a triple-layered look created from white, cream and black soles and an exaggerated heel that's nothing like we've seen before! This iteration looks more to a classic runner-style silhouette for inspiration compared to the past two releases, with a rounded toe and heel but still finished with the layered Swoosh on the sidewalls with the signature doubled-up laces.
