While Nike Dunks have been the hottest sneakers on the market for well over a year now, the good news is that they’re becoming easier to get hold of, with sneakerheads no longer constantly frustrated with receiving L’s time after time. As well as the increase in production numbers, we’re also seeing Nike release more colourways by the day, meaning there’s also more choice when it comes to design.
The latest colourway to be unveiled to the masses is the Nike Dunk High “Midnight Navy” that channels vintage vibes from back in 1985 when the silhouette launched for the first time ever. Originally symbolic of the colours from Villanova University, the Midnight Navy rendition follows suit from the earlier releases from the “Be True To Your School” pack.
Crafted from premium leather across the uppers, the pair showcase an ultra-clean colourway that consists of navy blue and white, with iconic college colour blocking present as ever. Nike’s signature Swoosh logo makes an appearance on both the lateral and medial sides, while vintage Nike branding is present at the tongue tabs. The pair follow a high-top construction, with padding located around the ankles for comfort and support, as these were originally designed as basketball sneakers.
This all sits on top of a white midsole that conceals full-length Nike Air cushioning, so if you’re looking for a comfortable pair these will certainly fit the bill. While we don’t have any further details just yet, we can expect the Nike Dunk High “Midnight Navy” to drop in the coming months, so keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news and updates and while you’re here, check out the Nike Dunk Low “Toasty Pack”!
