While the Air Jordan 1 Mid hasn’t always been the most popular cut of Michael Jordan’s first-ever signature model, it’s most definitely had its moments, and the latest variation we’ve seen unveiled offers up straight Chicago vibes. Titled the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Wear-Away”, the sneaker is decked out in red, black and white that sparks a familiar feeling amongst us, although it’s clear that this pair will offer a finish that is worn away over time, similar to the famous Air Jordan 1 “LA to Chicago” from back in 2019.
Nike’s signature Swoosh logo takes pride of place on the lateral and medial sides here, while the wings logo appears on the collar. From the first leaked images it’s unclear which branding will appear on the tongues, although we expect this to be Jumpman branding as with typical AJ1 Mids.
