Her journey into customising footwear began when her best friend’s 18th birthday was coming up and Emilia wanted to make her a handmade present. Trying something new, Emilia decided a custom Air Force 1 would be the perfect gift, and well, the rest she says is history.

Wanting to stay creative alongside her University Degree, Emilia decided to post her work online, a journey that eventually led to where she is today and her account, The Little Customs.

“Sneakers are such an interesting canvas for me, you can take a sneaker and customise it into something that represents you and your unique identity. Something I think everyone should embrace.”
