Months after those images first surfaced on the Insta account of @sneakerprophet, the adidas NMD XR1 PK 'Core Black Red' finally gets a confirmed release date. Thankfully, you won't have to wait long for one of the most impressive XR1 styles yet.
As you can see from these official images, this upcoming colourway borrows style cues from the recently debuted NMD R2. That soft black Primeknit is hit with contrasting lines in a shade of grey - a unique feature to an otherwise monochromatic design.
The addition of a blacked-out Boost midsole is yet another unusual style cue, having only featured on one other NMD XR1.
To complete the premium look, a soft leather overlay is stamped to the heel as well as the tongue while a synthetic lace cage gives that cutting edge look. Subtle hits of red feature to the stitching and 'The Brand with The Three Stripes' insignia across the heel pull.
The adidas NMD XR1 PK 'Core Black Red' is scheduled to launch on April 6th across UK and European retailers.
As another hugely sought-after silhouette, this pair is expected to sellout instantly. Keep it here for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to launch.
