Converse's Brand New Silhouette, The Run Star Y2K

Converse, well known and loved for their Chuck Taylor 70's and their One Stars, have just released a brand new silhouette: the Run Star Y2K.

Arriving in three colourways, Black/Red, White/Red and White/Navy, the new silhouette is taking on the shape of a chunky running-style sneaker.

Sitting on top of a much thicker midsole, this silhouette features mesh, patent leather and suede panelling across the upper. A reinforced toe box, heel and sidewall feature in the two materials and the rest of the upper covered in mesh.

Taking cues from the One Star, the iconic Converse symbol can be seen on the sidewalls as a patent underlay below a suede panel. All sitting on top of a responsive EVA midsole and a grippy outsole, for comfort and traction where you need it most.
