The last time Supreme teamed up with the Swoosh was for the Air Force 1 collaboration back in March, and since then, it's pretty much been radio silence from the New York City-based streetwear imprint. With that said, rumour has it that a Supreme x Air Jordan 1 "Stars" could be in the works, and if these leaks happen to be true then we're in for something pretty special.
According to industry insider @dropsbyjay, the "Stars" will be inspired by the power duo's legendary Nike SB Dunk High from 2003. Set to launch in three colourways including "Varsity Red", "University Blue", and "College Orange", each pair will be crafted from premium leather that's been given a luxurious croc finish, just like the OGs.
A gold star pattern gracefully appears on the lateral and medial side panels, while the AJ1's signature winged basketball motif is finely debossed onto the ankles, finalising the iconic Nike design.
Expected to launch sometime in 2021 a whole 18 years after the original release, the Supreme x Nike Air Jordan 1 "Stars" may end up being one of the hottest collabs of the year, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know which colourway you're feeling the most, and in related news, Michael Jordan's legendary Nike Air Ship Pro is making a comeback!
