If you've never experienced the comfort and cosiness of Boost technology, you're seriously missing out. In fact, you can renounce any claim of being a sneakerhead because it doesn't get more impressive for the footwear fanatic.
To summarise adidas's marketing blurb, Boost offers re-energising comfort whereby the more power you exert, the more energy that's delivered. While most of us haven't ran 100 metres in our favourite Boost's, that performance attribute is very much noticeable. Even bouncing down your high street, you can't help but pity those around you for their lesser advanced footwear.
So, what if you could transplant this technology onto any shoe you've ever bought? And we're not talking about following a 1-hour YouTube tutorial resulting in a botched custom job.
For the first time ever, removable Boost insoles were seen on the adidas Ultra Boost Cleats Metallic Silver pack - a US release for the hype American Footballer.
Could these Boost soles be rolled out globally and sold separately to those wanting to transform any shoe, from any brand?
That's speculation but clearly this would go down a storm with sneakerheads. Can you imagine a Boost Air Force 1 or even Boost in your unbearable leather work shoes.
Leave us a comment and let us know if you'd buy these. Maybe with enough pressure, adidas will give the people what they want - BOOST all day!
