Following the coveted release of Justin Saunders' BAPE Sta, it appears that he is now gearing up for the launch of the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Green". The Boston footwear label New Balance and Saunders' creative imprint have been partners for a few years now, with a few of their 99X collaborations fetching a high resale price in the secondary market.
The NB 990 silhouette is no stranger to Mr Saunders; the JJJJound 990V3 "Grey" and 990V4 "Navy" colourways are both colourways launched previously.
The 990V3 "Green" is no different to its siblings, maintaining the same premium construction of suede and mesh synonymous with New Balance's iconic 99X lineage. The colour palette features a khaki green hue throughout, with black accents marking the profile "N" logos and interior lining predominantly in charge of contrasting flairs. The cream laces and ENCAP midsole tooling underfoot offers a vintage vibe to the timeless footwear piece, with traditional NB USA branding on the tongues and heels completing the OG profile.
Now that we've seen this additional photo from the brand, could this be a hint that the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Green" be dropping sooner than we think? Make sure you stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier if you don't want to miss out on the latest New Balance drops. On a similar note, the DTLR x New Balance 2002R "Masquerade" is vivid and colourful.
