Hong Kong streetwear label CLOT has teamed up with Converse for this Cozy inspired winter pack. The streetwear brand – which has previously collaborated with Nike – is now turning its head towards the iconic baseball shoemaker for this winter release. This time, the brands have reinterpreted the hi top Chuck Taylor 70 and the low Jack Purcell.
The Chuck 70 sees the most out-there design interpretation. Inspired, in part, by the North Pole and polar bears, the upper of the silhouette has an insulating sherpa lining that would give your fuzzy slippers a run for their money on the comfy scale.
Using a mixture of real and faux fur, it's been transformed into a two-tone silhouette, with a silver zipper running down the back heel separating the two sides. The outer most side comes in a light, fluffy beige, while the inner sidewall appears a more wheat-like colour. Underfoot, Converse's typically white midsole has been turned translucent, giving off an ice cold snow-like effect.
The Jack Purcell, on the other hand, is crafted from an off-white premium suede upper, with a furry insulating lining to keep your feet staying cozy all winter through.
The collaboration is set to be released on the 1st of February – just in time for the mid-winter chill. If you're loving the CLOT x Converse collaboration, keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for more information about their release, where you can grab a pair, and all the latest sneaker news.
