Customisation Tutorial - Uncage Your Ultra Boost's

Many of you will have seen the recently release of the Hypebeast collaboration with adidas on the Ultra Boost model. The shoe for this project was uncaged  i.e. the plastic lace cage was removed, leaving the wearer with a more slip-on type shoe.

This new upgrade to the Ultra Boost left many of us who have the original pair of Boost's, a little dishevelled, and perhaps wondering what our sneakers would look like if the cage could be removed.

Well, thanks to YouTube user T Blake, wonder no more! This excellent video tutorial shows exactly how to take your beloved Ultra Boost's, and remove the lace cage, leaving you with a totally new pair of sneakers.

All you really need is a sharp knife of pair of scissors, and as T Blake shows us, with a few careful stitch cuts, the cage can be simply removed.
