Denim Dreams Come True: Nike x Levi's Join Forces Once Again

Nike and Levi's are serving up another fresh collaboration. Hiring a star-studded cast for the campaign, both Lil Yachty and Larry June (good job Larry), along with WNBA star Paige Bueckers can be spotted rocking the denim Air Max 95s. Unveiled as part of this collaborative collection are three pairs of denim clad Air Max 95s alongside a full lightwash denim ensemble of trousers and a jacket, both featuring prominent Nike branding.

Following the massive success of 2018’s AJ4 collab, there were whispers of the two labels joining forces on more collaborative trainers in 2024, focusing on the Air Max 95 silhouette. Now, in 2025, we have our first proper look at this eagerly awaited team up.

You will find the Levi's x Nike Air Max 95 in three different colour options: a rich black, a clean cream white, and a traditional blue. Each upper comes wrapped in a carefully frayed denim material, even on the signature layered sections. This keeps the model's traditional design intact while injecting that unmistakable Levi's character.

You won't immediately find the famous red Levi's tabs (or any Levi's logo, for that matter) fixed to the immaculate uppers. However, a quiet hint comes from the red insoles, clearly indicating the denim brand's involvement. Perhaps more detailed images will reveal further classic Levi's touches down the line. Regardless, this early imagery gives us plenty to get excited about, especially for denim loving trainer fanatics.

All three pairs in the capsule arrive with an extra two sets of laces, with them either being a black, red or white depending on which colour is already threaded onto the upper. Personally we would throw on the red laces onto the "Black" edition straight away because just peep how good they look in the campaign imagery. Now while red laces have historically symbolised anarchy, in this case they just beautifully match up with the iconic red Levi's tab.

And who better to debut these undeniably stylish Air Maxes than the musician himself, Lil Yachty? Yachty certainly entered the conversation with on foot glimpses of the shoes and a sneak peek at the accompanying clothing line. A man known to frequent the Canadian tuxedo, he once again suited up in a collaborative denim set, featuring baggy jeans and a trucker jacket stamped with Nike's Swoosh logo across the back.

The Air Max 95 has had a pretty strong year, celebrating its anniversary with impressive collaborations. We've seen partnerships with Corteiz, Worksout and now this excellent entry from Levi's. Plus, it will be landing with the updated 'Big Bubble' tooling! As for Levi's, the brand recently partnered with Beyoncé for the first ever collaborative products, launched for her 'Cowboy Carter' tour.

Beyond the Air Max 95s, Levi's is reportedly preparing another Jordan collaboration, transforming the Air Jordan 3 into a denim covered stepper. Those are set to drop sometime next year though. For now, the spotilght is securely fixed on these Levi's Air Max 95s, a trio we can't wait to drop on July the 11th 2025.
