An essential in every sneaker rotation, the Nike Air Max range has revolutionised the industry since the release of the Tinker Hatfield designed Nike Air Max 1 in 1987. Now, over 30 years later, we’re still seeing this innovative spirit carried on through retro releases of AM1s and Air Max 90s, as well as new silhouettes such as the Nike Air Max 270 and the Air Vapormax which have taken the world by storm. If you’re looking for a shoe which perfectly combines comfort and style, be sure to shop our range of Nike Air Max trainers!

All Air Max trainers make use of Nike’s air units. Packed with pressurised gas, the concept of Air Max is to provide next-level comfort and cushioning from a lightweight shoe. The first Air Max sneakers featured a visible air unit within the heel of the shoe, however the first full length air unit was introduced by the Nike Air Max 97. Fast forward to 2018, and the Air Max 720 introduced the tallest and most unique use of Air Max technology.
