Nike Air Max 97 Off Noir

The Christian Tresser-designed Nike Air Max 97, modelled after the Japanese bullet train, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. As part of the festivities, the latest Nike Air Max 97 shows off a sleek black-and-white colour scheme, true to its origins, the Nike Air Max 97 Off Noir.

This AM97 is accented with striking 3M reflective detailing. Dressed up in a combination of mesh and premium nubuck materials, this pair’s upper is mostly minimalist black and Off Noir. It’s so minimalist that the signature embroidered Swooshes on the quarter window on both sides of the shoe are black-on-black. Only the midsole provides some contrast. It’s pure white with a full-length Air unit in a transparent casing. A black rubber outsole completes the style of the shoe.
