Eagle-eyed Jordan fans have been eagerly-awaiting the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” for some time now, and we’ve just got our hands on some of the best images of the pair yet! The legendary colourway has adorned plenty of Jordan releases over the years, paying homage to Michael Jordan’s time playing for the University of North Carolina, although this is the first time it lends itself to the AJ6.
Designed by none other than Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 6 was first launched back in 1991 and was inspired by the clean lines on MJ’s Porsche 911 sports car. It’s been a hit with fans of the brand ever since even though it’s not seen as often as its predecessors. If you’re looking to add your first AJ6 into your collection then this release could be the perfect opportunity!
Crafted primarily from tumbled leather, the uppers showcase the effortlessly clean and instantly-recognisable white, black and blue colourway, with plenty of padding around the ankle and perforations at multiple points, hinting at how these sneakers were once intended for performance basketball. Jordan Brand tabs are present on the heels, while the plastic tongues showcase typeface branding, along with the signature lace locks displaying miniature Jumpman graphics. An ice blue midsole completes the look, with visible Nike Air technology present for cushioning.
If you’re keen on the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” then you’ll have to keep on waiting for a while longer, as no official release details have been revealed. Stay right here at The Sole Supplier for the latest updates and they happen as we’ll be the first to let you know. While you’re here, check out an official look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Psychic Purple”!
