I always cop true to size in the React 270 and there’s enough room to wear thick socks, but not so much room that they’re uncomfortable.

As the Nike Air Max 270 React is more of a “sporty” shoe, combining both React and Air technologies, I would see these fit more with a pair of leggings, perhaps on a day where I was walking around for a longer period of time, or running errands. However, if you were to wear the AM270 React as a lifestyle shoe, you could definitely rock these with a pair of jeans and they would still pop. I think black works best due to the large variety of colours that are available in the AM270 React and so the shoe really stands out.

Prevention is key with the AM270 React! The mesh is difficult to wipe once dirt is on them, so using a specialist spray prior to the first wear would be perfect. However, the material is super waterproof, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the rain.

The AM270 React are definitely more of a day-to-day casual shoe and are on the higher end of the comfort scale when it comes to Nike styles. I would compare these to an Air Force 1 in terms of comfortable fit and easier to wear than a Jordan 1, which would be for more ‘special occasions’

They fit true to size for me, the exaggerated midsole gives them a slight bit of elevation which, if you haven’t copped an Air Max 720 or 270 before, you may not be used to. But the lightweight material feels like a sock on-foot.

In comparison to the Nike AF1 they fit smaller, of course you have to up half a size on the Air Force 1. So just go for your typical Air Max size with these.

I style mine more as a summer shoe because of the lightweight textiles, but with a pair of Mom jeans or sweats in the colder months makes this a really clean look.

I never wear them on rainy days and I'm super careful with where I’m stepping. I don’t really have a trick for cleaning them just be vigilant.
