An Exclusive First Look At The adidas x TFL Sambarose 'Elizabeth Line'

The wait is over and the second phase of the adidas x TFL collection is here. One of which, is the chunky, football inspired Sambarose.

This flatform sneaker is bold in colour and in shape, arriving in an all over hue, the same colour that will be the identity of the new Elizabeth line next year. The aesthetic of this shoe will definitely be turning heads, this Sambarose was made to be noticed!

Purple suede takes over the streamline upper, boasting a leather inner and tongue. Comfort is at a high in this silhouette, from the moment you step in.

Heavy stitching detail can be seen all around the sneaker, holding the contrasting white branding details in place. Details such as the 3-Stripe branding on the sidewalls, labelling the sneaker, with "Samba"; stamped parallel in gold just beside, as well as the white leather heel panel.

Below foot is the unique Sambarose midsole, showing off the same purple hue with gold flecks throughout. This added touch gives a hint of glamour to the converted OG football sneaker and adds a luxe edge at the same time. Vertical corrugation can be seen to the sides of the midsole, giving an extra chunky look while the adidas Trefoil can be seen, embossed sideways, just behind.

Now for the TFL part! The minimal TFL branding has been styled on the tongue and insole of the silhouette. This subtle and hidden detailing gives an extra premium feel to the sneaker and matched the gold adidas branding on the left shoe's tongue. The purple roundel and the "Elizabeth Line"; branding has been printed onto the opposite tongue in a tonal effect.

The lace unit arrives in a matching purple shade, rounding off the sneaker with a very punchy vibe. If you have been looking for a bold pair of kicks, these just might be it.

The adidas x TFL Sambarose 'Elizabeth Line' is a limited edition sneaker and will be launching alongside 3 other Elizabeth Line inspired sneakers on the 8th December. These, followed by a series of Continental 80's on the 10th, representing the other 12 lines.
