With an ultra premium Air Jordan 3 dropping just around the corner, James Whitner has now reunited with the Three Stripes for the upcoming A Ma Maniére x adidas Ultra 4D "Triple Black", and it takes Futurecraft 4D technology to a dark dimension. The fifth collaboration to grace the classic-meets-contemporary silhouette, here's your first look!
Painted in an all-black colourway that's as stealthy as it gets, the Atlanta-based boutique's Ultra 4D features a full Primeknit upper while buttery smooth suede makes its way to the toebox and Three Stripe branding. The collar and heel are crafted from a neoprene-like fabric complete with a slew of perforations for a deconstructed aesthetic, and this is reflected onto the tongue where you'll find the brand's signature "A" logo.
Down below, you'll find a Futurecraft 4D midsole that's unlike anything else out there. Made in partnership with Carbon, the unit is printed using light and oxygen, resulting in an intricate lattice structure that offers up comfort and cushioning that's off the charts. This is then lined with a dark charcoal rubber outsole, finalising the understated adidas design.
A release date has yet to be confirmed for the A Ma Maniére x adidas Ultra 4D "Triple Black", but we wouldn't be surprised if this was exclusive to sneakerheads in North America. Let us know if you'd like these to drop in Europe, and in related news, it looks like the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar "Black" will be getting a global release after all
