2020 is going to be an absolutely massive year for adidas Futurecraft 4D. After getting a brief glimpse of the 4D 1.0 and a sneak peek at the Ultra 4D, we're now getting a first look at the upcoming adidas Consortium Runner 4D V2, and it's truly insane.
While previous releases opted for a more minimalist approach, the brand new Runner 4D V2 is made to turn heads. Arguably the model's biggest release since last year's four collab Consortium collection, the Primeknit upper is overlaid with various suede and leather panels with ample stitching throughout, resulting in an abstract aesthetic that's unlike anything we've seen before.
Three Stripe branding shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while the tongue is flanked by two tabs - one with the iconic adidas logo and the other with the legendary Consortium handshake. Moving down below, the signature "Ash Green" 4D midsole makes a comeback, providing comfort and cushioning that's truly unrivalled.
There's no doubt that the adidas Consortium Runner 4D V2 will have a much larger presence at the dawn of the new decade, but for now, the debut colourway will be hitting shelves just before Christmas on December 21st, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled if you want a pair!
