First Look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Night Maroon"

Last week saw the release of the hotly anticipated Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Monarch". Hands down one of the most hyped collaborations of the entire year, it sold out literally within minutes of dropping on SNKRS. If you, like many of us, didn't manage to cop, it looks like Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt are working on yet another colourway as we take our first ever look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Night Maroon"!

Switching things up a little, the Dutch brand's next Air Max 1 removes the orange suede construction in favour of burgundy leather panels that wrap around the entire shoe. The signature wavy mudguard surrounds the AM1, while this all sits on top of a crisp "Metallic Silver" ballistic mesh base which makes them perfect for everyday wear.

A small Nike Swoosh is finely embroidered on the lateral toebox, while co-branded detailing adorns the tongue and insoles to cement the coveted collab. To keep inline with the "Monarch" aesthetic, a dash of orange has been infused onto the sockliner for added contrast, finalising the design. This all comes packed in a special edition box and arrives with the exclusive anklet and pouch as well.
