First Look at the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Off Noir"

If you thought Chitose Abe had her best year in 2020, then think again. One of the fashion world's most esteemed designers, the Japanese style icon has been taking the industry by storm with her selection of sought-after Swoosh collaborations, and now we're taking our first look at the upcoming sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Off Noir".

First leaked last summer, the "Off Noir" takes her high heat hybrid to the next level. Covered completely in "Triple Black", it does away with the usual Flyknit construction in favour of a more versatile and weather-ready nylon. Stealthy suede graces the lacing system and toe box while the Nike Swoosh and heel are adorned with luxurious leather.

Of course, it wouldn't be a sacai x Nike collab without doubling up on everything. From the tongues to the midsoles, everything has been multiplied by two for a dangerously deconstructed aesthetic that's sure to turn heads. Rounding it all off is a gum rubber Waffle outsole, adding a touch of contrast to the otherwise understated design.
