After getting a glimpse of the "Corduroy" last month, we're now taking a first look at the Denham x Nike Air Max 1. Made in collaboration with the renowned Amsterdam-based label, this ultra luxurious sneaker has our mouths watering, and here's absolutely everything that we know so far!
Borrowing the Dutch brand's signature East-meets-West aesthetic, this AM1 utilises a traditional Japanese technique known as boro stitching. Across its buttery blue suede upper, vertical and horizontal lines feature for a shibori-inspired aesthetic that is sure to turn heads.
Natural tan leather descends onto the tongue and heel, while the insole is dipped in a bold red hue and decorated with luxe gold branding and illustrations of scissors and shears that pay homage to the imprint's sartorial trait.
According to sneaker insider @sneakerjamz, the Denham x Nike Air Max 1 is expected to drop in the near future and will be limited to just 6,800 pairs. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection, and while you're here you might as well get up close with the Nike SB Dunk Low "Denim Gum"!
