When we caught our first glimpse of the Nike SB Dunk Low "Denim Gum" earlier this week, it was already the shrouded with a ton of controversy. The Swoosh themselves informed everyone that the name was completely wrong, but many sneakerheads took this up as the shoe being a total fake, which definitely isn't the case. With that said, we're now getting up close and personal with the Dunk Low thanks to these brand new shots from @repgod888!
Decked out in a double denim design that oozes vintage vibes, the "Denim Gum" is crafted from two tone materials and done up with stitching throughout. From the lateral toe half moons to the Nike Swoosh itself, the visible embroidery results in a sartorial finish that's definitely hard to ignore.
An extra fat tongue is present, and to round it all off, a gum rubber outsole lines the midsole, finishing off the timeless aesthetic while providing durable traction with every step.
Nothing else is known about the Nike SB Dunk Low "Denim Gum" at this moment in time, but you can bet that we'll be the first to let you know as soon as something more solid comes through. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation, and in related news, the 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low has been cancelled!
