Even though we're knee deep into the winter months it looks like things are already heating up over in Los Angeles as we take our very first look at the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low. Taking a break from Jordan Brand, Chris Gibbs and his talented crew will be taking on the Dunk for the first time, and here's everything that we know so far!
Replacing the usual all-leather construction with a ripstop and nylon combination, ULA's take on the legendary basketball shoe arrives in a clean light blue hue with contrast red stitching running throughout - a design element that was previously spotted on the boutique's Air Jordan 4.
The brand's signature Frontman logo adorns the lateral heel. He also appears underneath the shoe through the icy blue rubber outsoles. A Nike Swoosh shoots across the sidewalls, and just above this is the iconic "UN/LA" tag in yellow that was first seen on their Air Jordan 1 collaboration from 2018.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the Union Los Angeles x Nike Dunk Low "Blue" at this moment in time, but our sources tell us that they'll land sometime within the first half of 2022. Let us know what you think of this unexpected collab, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 "Rattan"!
