We've said it before and we'll say it again: 2022 is going to be a massive year for the Air Jordan 2. An ultra underrated silhouette that made its debut back in 1986, it was designed by the legendary Bruce Kilgore who also brought us the iconic Air Force 1. While hype surrounding the basketball shoe hasn't been what it once was, Off-White's collaboration has brought it back into the spotlight. On top of that, the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 "Rattan" will also make this one of the most sought-after silhouettes of next year.
Unlike the Los Angeles boutique's Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4 collabs, the "Rattan" is actually pretty understated. Arriving in clean cream hue, the materials used throughout are pretty interesting to say the least. The collar is crafted from a canvas and is peppered with stitched circles, while the mid section is dressed in suede, complete with a series of holes running diagonally across. "Orange Peel" accents can be found on the eyelets, while a dash of "Siren Red" hits the tongue for added contrast.

Shifting your focus down below, you'll find an beige Nike Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets, while the rest of the Jordan is decorated with shipping label-inspired tags - a feature that has become synonymous to the LA-based imprint.
There's no word yet on when the Union LA x Nike Air Jordan 2 SP "Rattan" will drop, but rumour has it that it'll release sometime in Spring 2022 alongside the Union AJ2 "Grey Fog".
