Coming off the back of much hyped collaborations with COMME des Garçons, Undercover, and Off-White, Nike is back with another Air Presto silhouette. This time around, the Swoosh brand has blessed us with the Nike Air Presto 'Fly World' in a White/Oriental Poppy-Skylight-Black colourway.
First arriving on the scene in 2000, the sneaker's silhouette was supposedly inspired by the comfort and minimalism of an everyday classic T-Shirt, these are the kind of trainers you're not going to want to take off because they're so comfy.
Fashioned from a stretchy-yet-supportive neoprene in a crisp white hue, these sneakers aim to emulate the feeling of barefoot running by offering a lightweight flexibility. Underfoot, a layered foam midsole provides shock absorbing cushioning, with a rubber outsole giving enhanced traction and stability.
Looking closer at the sneaker, the upper's white neoprene base is reinforced and supported by a pastel blue midfoot cage with a translucent covering, which helps to support the foot. A vibrant red medium size Swoosh is printed on top of this layer on the inner and outer sidewalls and there's another Swoosh embroidered onto the toe for maximum brand awareness.
Hits of this fluorescent red also appears on the heel label, which also features a thin strip of reflective 3M, which adds a sporty edge to the design. We can't wait to style these for spring and summer. We'd wear them with casual tracksuit bottoms and a crop tee, or cropped wide leg jeans for an everyday laid back look.
If you're loving the Nike Air Presto Fly World in White/Oriental Poppy-Skylight-Black | AV7763-100, they're currently available in men's sizing from Titolo and Asphalt Gold. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for info on when a wider sizing release drops to cop a pair.
