Forget Croctober, Elf x Crocs Classic Clogs Are On the Way

Crocs’ Croctober celebrations are well and truly underway this month, but that hasn’t stopped everyone’s favourite rubber clog brand from looking forward to the rest of the year too. After dropping a plethora of borderline-meme-inspired styles in its Shrocs, Cowboy Boot and Mater-themed clog, Crocs has now turned its attention to the holiday season, readying a pair inspired by Will Ferrell’s festive masterpiece: Buddy the Elf, from Elf.

The film follows Buddy the Elf’s trek from the North Pole to the Big Apple to find his father. Still, we wouldn’t recommend wearing this pair in the snow (nor can we guarantee you’ll find any long-lost relatives or bump into Zoey Deschanel if you plan on wearing them). That said, the fur-lined pair is most likely warm enough for some winter wear, and also perfectly positioned to channel some Christmas cheer, coming dressed with details and jibbitz that pay tribute to the character. The Croc itself embraces a festive green tone at the forefoot and a yellow sole to reflect Buddy and the elves' uniforms, while the backstrap has been given a makeover that finishes off the ‘fit with a buckled belt detail. Finally, Jibbitz arrive in the form of Buddy’s hat, the film’s logo and two classic quotes: ‘Does someone need a hug’ and ‘Santa! I know him!’.
