adidas x "The Simpsons" Prep Yet Another Collaborative Capsule

It would seem both adidas and "The Simpsons" have taken note of how much we loved the Homer version of the Stan Smith. Off the back of the August release, adidas x "The Simpsons" have joined forces once again to produce a trio of silhouettes, each with direct nods to either characters or scenes from the show.

Up first, we have yet another Homer-themed addition arriving in the form of the NMD-G1. Atop its iconic BOOST cushioned sole, a Primekint upper is decorated in a vivid yellow hue reminiscent of Homer's skin. The 3-Stripe signature decorates the lateral walls in a beige tint, with the show's key protagonist peeking out from behind. Finally, a “D’oh!” catchphrase is stitched onto the top of the tongue.

Our next addition takes shape across the experimental adidas adiFOM Superstar silhouette. Sporting what appears to be a 3D-printed finish, this shoe sees the iconic Springfield clouds from the intro of each episode decorate the whole of the exterior. Pairing vivid blue and white hues, the soft-looking clouds work in unison with a classic 3-Stripe motif.

Finally, we have a version of the adidas Forum Low inspired by the living room in the Simpsons' house. Given the fact this location has sparked so many iconic moments in the show, it only feels right that it should be used for the colour palette on the Forum Low. Pairing a mish-mash of tints atop suede, corduroy, and leather, this shoe perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the location.
