After making waves amongst the Dutch youth, Colourful Rebel's foray into the rest of Europe is one hype train we don't want to miss. Founded in 2013 by Bas and Frank van de Brug, Colourful Rebel quickly garnered a heap of attention thanks to its pronounced and bright designs, and SS23 offers much more of the same.
Lockdown offered a brief period of reflection for the brand, with Amsterdam playing host to the label's confinement. From this, Colourful Rebel began exploring the idea of what people would wear during a hot summer in the metropolis, laying the groundwork for its "summer in the city" inspired SS23 offerings. Embracing different textures through materials such as crochet, satin and 400 GSM cotton, the brand has now readied an array of warm-weather looks suitable for the city and beyond.
Being the first time the brand has focused on a men's drop to accompany its women's offerings, a strong product offering has been crucial to the success of the range. Included in the selection, we see a number of graphic print tees, washed sweatshirts and hoodies, co-ord shirts and short sets, and even bright camouflage jackets for those days when the sun doesn't shine. Graphic prints offer everything from simple logo renditions to floral-inspired looks, reinforcing the summery aesthetic. In terms of co-ords, these same maximalist floral prints arrive in vibrant blue hues across both the shirts and shorts.
For those looking to explore Colourful Rebel's SS23 offerings further, you can see the full range available on its website now, so don't delay!
