First launched back in 1979 and still boasting that head-turning curb appeal, the adidas Spezial remains a timeless classic.

There's been hundreds of colourways and variations on the original. This is a range that keeps on giving and that accolade becomes more impressive with the introduction of the iconic Spezial at customisation platform mi adidas.

The Spezial was first designed as a handball shoe, becoming a world-renowned silhouette amongst players but it quickly transitioned into the mainstream.

For the first time ever, that same vintage look can now be fully customised to your liking. There's no more waiting for the 'perfect' colourway to launch, simply create your own from the bottom up.

Choose from a selection of four gum outsoles before selecting from one of 13 coloured leather uppers. Hit the design with some contrasting (or tonal) stripes across the sidewall and finish with personalised insignia to the inner sole.

Despite the ability to transform this icon into a one-of-a-kind silhouette, all the same original features are maintained. That includes a durable four-zone construction sole which gives that responsive cushioning.
