Dr. Martens have never shied away from the opportunity to collaborate. Following on from the likes of atmos, Hello Kitty, JJJJound and Stüssy, the Northamptonshire-based footwear brand have teamed up with Marc Jacobs nearly 30 years after he first sent his models stomping down the runway in these iconic boots.
Taking inspiration from the designer's most recent collection 'Heaven', Docs have re-designed two silhouettes: the Audrick 8i HMJ Croc in a boot and also a brogue. Taking on that '90s aesthetic that DM is so well known for, these DIY-inspired Docs are perfect for anyone who wants to dress them up grungy or girly, thanks to the croc-patterned upper and the floral eyelets.
Coming with a super chunky midsole, there's extra comfort underfoot thanks to the concealed SoftWair sponge. The body of the shoes come with that iconic yellow stitching, which provides a great bit of contrast against the patent, croc-embossed uppers. On the lace unit, Marc Jacobs' signature two-headed teddy bear charm sits in a metallic hue that matches the daisy eyelets.
To cop this new Doc Martens x Marc Jacobs 'Heaven' collection, keep your eyes peeled as it's landing on the Dr. Martens site on the 9th September!
