Get Sleek With adidas' New Styles For SS19

Chunky sneakers have staged a street style takeover for the past couple of years, causing us to almost forget how undeniably chic tennis inspired styles can be.

Fortunately, adidas Originals are on hand to remind us of the power of classic tailoring with their Sleek range.

The women's exclusive shoe first arrived at the beginning of 2019 in a range of stripped back colourways.

Featuring an angled midsole with a slight platform for extra height, the Sleek has been specifically designed with a narrow shape to bring a categorically feminine aesthetic.

Smooth leather adorns the upper, which is minimally decorated with 3-Stripes perforations and golden branding, while a neutrally toned suede patch completes the look at the heel.

The brand's latest collection has been updated with a vibrant splash of colour for Spring, reflected through the gaze of artist Petra Collins in an edgy editorial.

Clashing pink and red hues transform the OG Sleek, while a mid-top version has also been debuted in white and pink.

A hook-and-loop closure system has been added to create a customisable fit for the Sleek S, as a trend-focussed flash of neon green steals attention under foot.

Completing the pack is the pastel blue toned Sleek Z, which features a zipper for a unique element on the upper.

The majority of adidas' fresh Sleek designs are set to launch on February 27th, with others expected to arrive within the next couple of months.
