After the astounding success of the runner-turned-lifestyle 327 sneaker from the Boston-based brand, it's no wonder that New Balance is turning its efforts towards other Instagram-savvy, fashionista options for 2022. Emerging for the first time this year, the latest style to take to the TikTok scene is the CT302; a chunky, yet slimline, sneaker that ticks all the trending boxes this season.

This low-top sneaker from NB is constructed from synthetic leather, which is paired with a durable rubber toe cap and suede panelling across the forefoot of the shoe. Said to be a take on the CT300 from the '80s, this tennis-style sneaker updates the classic look with modern features, such as a platformed midsole. However, the large 'N' logo on the medial and lateral sidewall remains, like what was first seen in the 1970s and remains on silhouettes like the 574 today.
