At this point, it's become pretty obvious that Yohji Yamamoto is the master of Futurecraft. After just releasing a 4D collection last month, we're now getting up close and personal with the Y-3 Runner 4D IO, and it is his biggest rework to date.
Images courtesy of reputable sneaker insider @solebyjc, the 4D IO features an extremely technical composition and is inspired by digital binary code. With a clean white upper, it's crafted from an ultra versatile ripstop fabric that's slightly see through. This surrounds an adidas Primeknit base within that provides sneakerheads with a comfortable sock-like fit.
Oversized "adidas Y-3" branding finds its way to the lateral and medial side panels as well as the tongue, and down below you'll find a fully blacked out Futurecraft 4D midsole that's as stealthy as it gets. With an intricate lattice structure that's derived from oxygen and light, every step feels like you're walking on a plump cloud. To round it all off, a luxe leather pull tab adorns the heel, finalising the clean cut colourway.
Not much else is known about the adidas Y-3 Runner 4D IO at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'll be copping, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at Beyoncé's Ivy Park x adidas Nite Jogger "Dark Green"!
